Piper
Hunter began playing bagpipes at age 14 under the tutelage of former Scottish military highland dancer and bagpiper, Hughe D. Lee, at the local fire department pipe band in his hometown of Winthrop Harbor. He played briefly with Chicago Caledonian Pipes and Drums then joined the City of Chicago Pipe Band at its inception. He was active with the band through its first year in Grade 2, and now after taking some time away from piping, has returned to the band in the fall of 2017. Hunter currently works as a Quality Operations Manager at AON Hewitt. He is also an avid snowboarder, kayaker, and is recently taking up track days on his supersport motorcycle.
