Snare Drummer
Zach Cochran is a classically trained percussionist and resides in Kansas City, Missouri. He has appeared with the Raytown Community Band, Liberty Symphony Orchestra, Dublin Wind Symphony, Dublin Silver Band, and as a pit percussionist with the Marion Palace Theatre. Zach became interested in highland drumming when he moved to Dublin, Ohio, in 2014 and was introduced to Capital City Pipes and Drums. Within only a short period in the pipe band community, he won an EUSPBA Champion Supreme award for Grade 4 Senior Snare in 2016 and was promoted to Grade 3. Zach served as Leading Drummer of Capital City Pipes and Drums and Kansas City St. Andrews Pipes & Drums before joining City of Chicago Pipe Band. Zach is passionate about drumming and teaches young students in highland drumming. When not behind a drum, Zach enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
