The City of Chicago Pipe Band is proud to partner with the Chicago White Sox!
Chicago, Illinois, March 01, 2019 — Beginning with events celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the coming weeks, the Chicago White Sox and the City of Chicago Pipe Band are proud to embark on what is thought to be a first of its kind partnership between a pipe band and an American major league sports team.
During the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16 and the South Side Irish Parade on March 17, the band will be sporting a variety of Chicago White Sox branding to debut the new relationship. Going forward the band will be performing at a number of home games at Guaranteed Rate Field during the 2019 MLB season.The Chicago White Sox and the City of Chicago Pipe Band will be adding other public events to the performance schedule in and out of the ballpark as we find more exciting ways to combine America’s favorite past time and the traditional music of bagpipes and drums!
