Felicia Lelli

Tenor Drummer

Felicia began her music career in middle school playing the clarinet. In high school, she added saxophone to her repertoire where she played in concert and marching bands. Later in life, she picked up tenor mallets and joined the Flint Scottish Pipe Band in 2017 where she played alongside her husband on bass drum and their son on pipes. In 2021, Felicia began traveling to compete with the North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums in their Grade 4 band. With a few additional seasons of competitive band and solo experiences, she embraced the challenge of joining the Grade 2 City of Chicago Pipe Band in the fall of 2022. Although Felicia does not have any Scottish or Irish heritage, she has discovered a passion for tenor drumming in pipe bands and thoroughly enjoys the music and camaraderie. The aspect she loves best is being one entity contributing to the beautiful sound of the whole.
