Snare Drummer
Stephen Baker began his career as a percussionist in Anderson, Indiana, where he played rudimental marching drum corps style music as well as Scottish style drumming throughout high school. After relocating to Chicago, Stephen joined Chicago Caledonian Pipes and Drums in 1998. He performed and competed with CCal through the 2004 season, and even after stepping away from the competitive group he maintained his appetite for Scottish drumming. Stephen returned to competitive pipe band drumming in 2021 when he joined the City of Chicago Pipe Band as a side drummer continuing his pursuit of Scottish musicianship.
